Last Updated: 7 July 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.eutradenetwork.com, together with all related websites, subdomains, mobile versions, applications, services, business directory listings, digital products, communications, and features (collectively, the "Platform").

The Platform is owned and operated by EU Trade Network Ltd. ("EU Trade Network", "we", "our", or "us"). Throughout these Terms, references to "you" or "your" mean any individual, business, organisation, representative, visitor, customer, subscriber, or entity accessing or using the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and EU Trade Network Ltd. By accessing, browsing, registering for an account, purchasing a service, submitting a business listing, advertising, or otherwise using any part of the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any additional policies or guidelines published on the Platform.

If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company, partnership, government body, charity, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. In such circumstances, references to "you" include both the individual acting on behalf of the organisation and the organisation itself.

If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately stop accessing and using the Platform. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your ongoing acceptance of these Terms and any future updates made in accordance with Section 13.

The Platform is intended primarily as a business-to-business (B2B) directory connecting companies, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, service providers, buyers, and commercial organisations operating within Europe and international markets. Nothing on the Platform should be interpreted as legal, financial, tax, investment, procurement, or professional advice. Users remain solely responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence before entering into any commercial relationship with another business.

EU Trade Network Ltd. operates the Platform in accordance with applicable European Union legislation, including, where relevant, the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Digital Services Act (DSA), the eCommerce Directive, and other applicable national laws governing electronic commerce and online intermediary services. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted under applicable European law.

2. Eligibility and Permitted Use

The Platform is intended primarily for business users and commercial organisations. By accessing or using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you satisfy all of the following requirements:

  • you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements;
  • where you act on behalf of a company, partnership, association, public authority or other legal entity, you have the authority to legally bind that organisation to these Terms;
  • all information you provide to us is complete, accurate, current and not misleading;
  • your use of the Platform complies with all applicable local, national and European Union laws and regulations.

EU Trade Network is a business directory and commercial networking platform designed to help businesses discover suppliers, manufacturers, exporters, service providers and other commercial partners. The Platform is not intended for unlawful, fraudulent or personal activities unrelated to legitimate business purposes.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of other users or restrict or interfere with anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Platform.

2.1 Business Accounts

Certain features of the Platform, including publishing company listings, responding to enquiries, purchasing promotional services and managing business profiles, require the creation of a registered account.

When creating an account, you agree to:

  • register using truthful and accurate business information;
  • maintain and promptly update your account information whenever changes occur;
  • protect the confidentiality of your username and password;
  • accept responsibility for all activities carried out under your account;
  • notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised access or suspected security breach.

We reserve the right to request documentation verifying your identity, business registration, ownership or authority before activating or maintaining certain services. Failure to provide requested verification may result in suspension or removal of your account or listings.

2.2 Prohibited Users

You may not use the Platform if:

  • you have previously been suspended or permanently removed from the Platform;
  • your account was terminated for violating these Terms;
  • your business is involved in illegal, fraudulent or deceptive activities;
  • your use would violate any applicable sanctions, trade restrictions or export control laws;
  • you intend to use the Platform for spam, phishing, data harvesting, automated scraping, malware distribution or other abusive activities.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and without prior notice where legally permitted, to refuse registration, reject account applications, suspend access or terminate accounts that fail to satisfy these eligibility requirements or otherwise pose a risk to the integrity, security or reputation of the Platform.

3. User Accounts, Business Listings and Verification

To access certain features of the Platform, including publishing a business listing, responding to enquiries, purchasing promotional services, or managing company information, you must create and maintain a registered account.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all information submitted to the Platform is accurate, complete, current and lawful. Business listings should accurately represent the organisation, its products, services, certifications and contact information at all times.

3.1 Business Information

By submitting a listing or company profile, you represent and warrant that:

  • you own or are authorised to manage the business being listed;
  • all information submitted is truthful, accurate and not misleading;
  • your business complies with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements in the jurisdictions where it operates;
  • all licences, registrations, permits or certifications required for your business activities are valid and maintained;
  • you have the necessary rights to publish all logos, trademarks, photographs, videos, documents and other materials uploaded to the Platform.

3.2 Listing Content

You remain solely responsible for all content published through your account, including company descriptions, contact information, images, videos, product catalogues, pricing information, certifications, downloadable files and external links.

You agree that your listing will not contain content that:

  • is false, deceptive or misleading;
  • infringes any copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual property rights;
  • contains defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, threatening or unlawful material;
  • promotes illegal products, counterfeit goods or prohibited services;
  • contains malicious software, viruses or harmful code;
  • violates the privacy or legal rights of another person or organisation.

3.3 Verification

EU Trade Network may, but is under no obligation to, verify businesses listed on the Platform. Verification may include confirmation of business registration, company ownership, VAT registration, website ownership, email verification or other supporting documentation.

Verification does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee or warranty regarding the quality, reliability, financial stability or legal compliance of any business. Users remain responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence before entering into commercial relationships.

3.4 Listing Approval and Moderation

All listings may be reviewed before publication or at any time after publication. We reserve the right, without prior notice where legally permitted, to:

  • approve or reject new listings;
  • edit formatting, categorisation or layout for consistency across the Platform;
  • request corrections or additional documentation;
  • temporarily suspend listings pending investigation;
  • remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable law.

We are not obligated to publish, retain or restore any content submitted by users and may remove content where reasonably necessary to protect other users, comply with legal requirements, enforce these Terms or maintain the integrity of the Platform.

3.5 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities occurring under your account. You must immediately notify us of any suspected unauthorised access, misuse or security breach.

We shall not be liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account where such use results from your failure to adequately protect your login credentials or otherwise comply with these Terms.

4. Paid Services, Memberships and Payments

EU Trade Network offers both free and paid services through the Platform. Paid services may include, but are not limited to, premium business listings, featured placements, advertising opportunities, lead generation services, promotional campaigns, subscription plans and other commercial products (collectively, the "Paid Services").

By purchasing any Paid Service, you agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes and charges associated with your order and to comply with these Terms.

4.1 Pricing

All prices displayed on the Platform are shown in the currency indicated at the time of purchase and may be exclusive or inclusive of applicable taxes, including VAT, as required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to modify pricing, features or subscription plans at any time. Price changes will not affect payments already completed but may apply to future purchases or subscription renewals following reasonable notice where required by law.

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. By submitting payment information, you authorise both EU Trade Network and its payment processors to charge the selected payment method for all applicable fees.

We do not store complete payment card information on our own servers. Payment data is handled by certified payment service providers in accordance with applicable security standards, including PCI DSS requirements where applicable.

4.3 Subscription Services

Certain Paid Services are offered on a recurring subscription basis. Unless otherwise stated during checkout, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled by you.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorise us to collect recurring payments using your chosen payment method until the subscription is cancelled in accordance with these Terms.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or by contacting our support team. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not normally entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless required under applicable law.

4.4 Refund Policy

Because Paid Services generally involve immediate publication, advertising, digital content or promotional exposure, payments are generally non-refundable once the service has commenced.

Refunds may only be provided where:

  • required by applicable European Union or national consumer protection law;
  • we are unable to provide the purchased service due to our own technical failure;
  • we expressly agree to issue a refund at our sole discretion.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

4.5 Failed or Overdue Payments

If payment cannot be successfully processed, we may:

  • suspend access to Paid Services;
  • remove premium features from your listing;
  • retry payment using your authorised payment method where permitted;
  • cancel your subscription or order;
  • recover outstanding amounts through lawful collection procedures where appropriate.

4.6 Promotions and Discounts

From time to time, promotional pricing, discount codes, free trials or limited-time offers may be made available. Such offers are subject to their own specific terms and may be withdrawn, modified or expired at any time without liability, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

4.7 Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, withholding obligations or governmental charges arising from your purchase or use of Paid Services, except where EU Trade Network is legally required to collect and remit such taxes on your behalf.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

To protect the integrity, security and reliability of the Platform, all users must use EU Trade Network responsibly, lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to misuse the Platform or assist others in doing so.

You are solely responsible for all activities carried out using your account, including any content you publish, communications you send and interactions you have with other users or businesses through the Platform.

5.1 Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Platform to engage in, promote or facilitate any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or harmful. Without limitation, you agree not to:

  • interfere with or disrupt the operation, security or performance of the Platform;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to user accounts, databases, servers or restricted areas of the Platform;
  • circumvent security measures or authentication systems;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to discover the Platform's source code except where expressly permitted by applicable law;
  • use bots, automated scripts or scraping tools to collect content or data without our prior written permission;
  • harvest email addresses, telephone numbers or other personal information for unsolicited marketing;
  • transmit spam, chain messages, phishing communications or unsolicited commercial messages;
  • upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets or other intellectual property rights;
  • promote counterfeit goods, prohibited products or illegal services;
  • engage in fraudulent commercial practices or deceptive advertising;
  • attempt to manipulate search rankings, user reviews, ratings or platform metrics;
  • use the Platform in a manner that could damage our reputation or the reputation of other users.

5.2 Fair Use

The Platform is intended to facilitate genuine business networking and commercial connections. You agree not to use the Platform in any manner that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure or negatively affects the experience of other users.

We may impose reasonable usage limits, including limits on API access, messaging, listing submissions, file uploads or other Platform functionality where necessary to maintain system stability and security.

5.3 Communications Between Users

Where the Platform enables users to contact one another, all communications must remain professional, lawful and relevant to legitimate business activities.

You must not use contact forms, messaging systems or published contact information to:

  • send unsolicited bulk marketing communications;
  • collect personal data for unrelated purposes;
  • harass, intimidate or threaten another user;
  • distribute malicious links or fraudulent offers;
  • conduct phishing or identity theft activities.

5.4 Monitoring and Enforcement

EU Trade Network reserves the right, but is not obligated, to monitor the use of the Platform for compliance with these Terms and applicable law.

Where we reasonably believe that a user has violated these Terms, we may, without prior notice where legally permitted:

  • remove or modify content;
  • issue warnings;
  • temporarily suspend accounts or listings;
  • permanently terminate accounts;
  • restrict access to specific Platform features;
  • report unlawful activities to competent authorities;
  • take any other action reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, our users or our legal interests.

Our failure to enforce any provision of this Acceptable Use Policy in a particular instance shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in future cases.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, the Platform and all of its content are owned by or licensed to EU Trade Network Ltd. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, database rights, trade secret laws and other proprietary rights under the laws of the European Union and other applicable jurisdictions.

These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the Platform to you. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for its intended business purposes.

6.1 Our Intellectual Property

The following, without limitation, are the exclusive property of EU Trade Network Ltd. or its licensors:

  • the EU Trade Network name, logo and branding;
  • the design, layout and appearance of the Platform;
  • software, databases and source code;
  • graphics, icons, text, images, videos and downloadable materials created by us;
  • search functionality, categorisation systems and proprietary data structures;
  • all copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade dress and other intellectual property associated with the Platform.

Except where expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law, you may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, commercially exploit, create derivative works from or otherwise use any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.

6.2 User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Platform, including business descriptions, logos, trademarks, photographs, videos, catalogues, documents and other materials ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • you own the content or have all necessary rights and permissions to publish it;
  • the content does not infringe the intellectual property or other legal rights of any third party;
  • the content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

6.3 Licence Granted to EU Trade Network

By uploading or submitting User Content, you grant EU Trade Network Ltd. a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence, for the duration of the applicable intellectual property rights, to:

  • format, resize and optimise content for different devices and services;
  • index your content for search functionality;
  • use your content in connection with marketing, advertising and promoting the Platform;

This licence exists solely for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting and providing the Platform and does not transfer ownership of your intellectual property to EU Trade Network Ltd.

6.4 Copyright Infringement

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that material published on the Platform infringes your copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights, you should notify us promptly with sufficient information to investigate your claim.

Where appropriate, we may remove allegedly infringing content, suspend the relevant listing or account, request additional documentation from the parties involved or take other actions required by applicable law.

6.5 Feedback

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, recommendations, ideas, comments or other feedback regarding the Platform, you agree that EU Trade Network Ltd. may use, modify, implement and commercialise such feedback without restriction and without any obligation to provide compensation or acknowledgement.

6.6 Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved by EU Trade Network Ltd. and its licensors.

7. Third-Party Content, Listings and External Links

EU Trade Network operates as an online business directory and intermediary platform that enables businesses to publish information about their organisations, products and services and to connect with potential customers, suppliers and commercial partners.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the content published within business listings is provided directly by the respective businesses or other users and not by EU Trade Network Ltd.

7.1 Business Listings

Business profiles, product information, certifications, contact details, promotional materials, pricing and other listing content are submitted and maintained by the businesses themselves.

While we may perform limited moderation or verification procedures, we do not routinely verify every statement, claim or document submitted to the Platform. Accordingly, we do not guarantee that any listing is complete, accurate, current, reliable or suitable for your particular requirements.

Users are solely responsible for carrying out their own due diligence before entering into any commercial relationship, transaction or agreement with another business listed on the Platform.

7.2 No Endorsement

The appearance of a company, product, service or advertisement on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, accreditation, certification or guarantee by EU Trade Network Ltd.

Any rankings, featured placements, premium listings, sponsored content or promotional positions are based on the relevant service purchased or other Platform criteria and should not be interpreted as a recommendation regarding quality, reliability or commercial suitability.

7.3 Commercial Transactions

EU Trade Network is not a buyer, seller, manufacturer, importer, exporter, distributor, broker or agent in relation to products or services offered through the Platform.

We are not a party to any negotiations, quotations, contracts, payments, deliveries, warranties, disputes or other commercial arrangements entered into between users.

Any agreement formed between businesses is solely between the parties involved, and each party assumes full responsibility for evaluating the legitimacy, financial stability, legal compliance and suitability of the other party.

7.4 External Websites

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, documents or external resources that are not owned or controlled by EU Trade Network Ltd.

These links are provided solely for convenience. We do not control, monitor or endorse the content, availability, privacy practices, products or services offered by third parties and accept no responsibility for them.

Your use of any third-party website is governed exclusively by the terms and privacy policies of that third party.

7.5 Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with third-party technologies or service providers, including payment processors, analytics providers, communication services, mapping services, identity verification providers and other business tools.

While we endeavour to work with reputable providers, we do not warrant the availability, security or uninterrupted operation of any third-party service integrated with the Platform.

7.6 User Responsibility

Before relying upon any listing, advertisement, certification, quotation or other information published through the Platform, you should independently verify all information that is material to your decision.

EU Trade Network Ltd. shall not be liable for any loss arising from reliance upon information supplied by third parties, including inaccuracies, omissions, misrepresentations or fraudulent conduct by users or listed businesses.

7.7 Reporting Inappropriate Content

If you believe that a listing, advertisement or other content on the Platform is false, misleading, unlawful, infringes intellectual property rights or otherwise violates these Terms, you are encouraged to notify us using the contact details provided on the Platform.

We may investigate reported content and, where appropriate, remove or restrict access to such content in accordance with applicable law, including the European Union Digital Services Act (DSA). However, submission of a report does not guarantee that any particular action will be taken.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EU Trade Network Ltd. disclaims all warranties, representations and guarantees, whether express, implied or statutory, relating to the Platform and its content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or legal right that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8.1 Availability of the Platform

While we endeavour to provide a reliable service, we do not warrant or guarantee that:

  • the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free;
  • the Platform will operate without delays, outages or technical faults;
  • defects or errors will always be corrected;
  • the Platform or its servers will be free from viruses, malware or other harmful components;
  • all content will remain permanently available or accessible.

Maintenance, upgrades, security measures, technical failures, internet disruptions and events beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect the availability of the Platform.

8.2 Accuracy of Information

Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain the quality of the Platform, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, reliability, legality, suitability or timeliness of any information published by users or third parties.

Business listings, certifications, contact details, product descriptions, pricing, technical specifications and other information may change without notice and should be independently verified before being relied upon.

8.3 No Professional Advice

Content made available through the Platform is provided for general informational and commercial networking purposes only.

Nothing published on the Platform constitutes legal, financial, accounting, tax, investment, procurement, engineering or other professional advice, nor should it be relied upon as a substitute for obtaining advice from appropriately qualified professionals.

8.4 No Guarantee of Business Outcomes

EU Trade Network does not guarantee that using the Platform will result in enquiries, sales, contracts, partnerships, increased visibility, commercial success or any particular business outcome.

Individual results depend on numerous factors beyond our control, including market conditions, user activity, the quality of listings and the actions of third parties.

8.5 Third-Party Conduct

We make no warranties regarding the identity, legitimacy, financial stability, reputation, qualifications, products, services or conduct of businesses listed on the Platform.

Users remain solely responsible for performing appropriate due diligence before entering into negotiations or commercial relationships with other businesses.

8.6 Compatibility

We do not warrant that the Platform will be compatible with every device, browser, operating system, network configuration or third-party software used by you.

8.7 Statutory Rights

Nothing contained in this section excludes, limits or restricts any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable European Union legislation or mandatory national laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EU Trade Network Ltd., its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, licensors and service providers shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or relating to your access to or use of the Platform, your inability to use the Platform, or your reliance upon any information made available through it.

  • loss of profits or revenue;
  • loss of business opportunities;
  • loss of anticipated savings;
  • loss of goodwill or reputation;
  • loss, corruption or destruction of data;
  • business interruption;
  • costs of substitute services;
  • losses arising from dealings with third parties.

9.2 Third-Party Transactions

EU Trade Network acts solely as an intermediary platform that facilitates business discovery and networking. We are not responsible for contracts, quotations, deliveries, payments, warranties, disputes, product quality, regulatory compliance or any other aspect of commercial relationships formed between users.

Any transaction entered into between users is undertaken entirely at their own risk.

9.3 Maximum Liability

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of:

  • the total amount paid by you to EU Trade Network during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
  • EUR €100.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory upon which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), statutory duty or otherwise.

9.4 Nothing Excluded

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless EU Trade Network Ltd., its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, licensors and service providers from and against any claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • your misuse of the Platform;
  • your User Content or business listings;
  • your infringement of any intellectual property or other legal rights;
  • your violation of applicable laws or regulations;
  • any dispute between you and another user or third party.

We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you. In such circumstances, you agree to cooperate fully with our reasonable requests in the defence of the claim.

11. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or permanently terminate your access to all or part of the Platform where reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, other users, comply with legal obligations or enforce these Terms.

11.1 Grounds for Suspension

Without limiting our other rights, we may suspend or terminate your account where:

  • you breach these Terms;
  • you provide false or misleading information;
  • your account is used for fraudulent, unlawful or abusive activities;
  • your business listing repeatedly violates our policies;
  • you fail to pay applicable fees;
  • continued access poses security, operational or legal risks;
  • we are required to do so by law or a competent authority.

11.2 Effect of Termination

Upon suspension or termination:

  • your right to access the affected services immediately ceases;
  • your listings may be unpublished or permanently removed;
  • premium services may end without further access;
  • we may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Termination does not affect any rights, obligations or liabilities that accrued before termination, including payment obligations or legal claims.

11.3 Account Closure by You

You may close your account at any time by following the account settings within the Platform or by contacting us. Closure of your account does not automatically entitle you to refunds for previously purchased services unless required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise.

12. Privacy, Data Protection and GDPR

EU Trade Network Ltd. is committed to protecting your privacy and processing personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR where applicable, and any national laws implementing or supplementing those regulations.

Our collection, use, storage and disclosure of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your personal data may be processed as described in our Privacy Policy.

  • compliance with legal obligations;
  • our legitimate business interests, provided such interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

12.3 User Responsibilities

If you upload or publish personal data relating to another individual, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary legal authority to do so and that such processing complies with applicable data protection laws.

Where you act as an independent controller of personal data obtained through the Platform, you are solely responsible for complying with all applicable privacy and data protection obligations.

Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users, including by email, through account notifications or by publishing a prominent notice on the Platform before the revised Terms take effect, where required by applicable law.

The "Last Updated" date displayed at the beginning of these Terms indicates the most recent revision.

By continuing to access or use the Platform after revised Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated version. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Platform.
